Education & Career

During his time at Stanford, Keiser became known for his relentless effort, leadership, and dedication to continuous improvement. As a standout defensive player, he earned the respect of coaches and teammates alike for his toughness, humility, and unwavering commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

Keiser’s path to the NFL was anything but conventional. Entering the league as an undrafted free agent, he relied on determination and perseverance to earn roster opportunities with the Carolina Panthers, San Diego Chargers, and Arizona Cardinals. Throughout his professional career, he built a reputation as a dependable, intelligent, and hardworking linebacker who consistently maximized every opportunity through preparation and grit.

One of the most memorable moments of his NFL career occurred during the 2013 season when, playing for the San Diego Chargers, he intercepted future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning in a nationally televised victory over the Denver Broncos. The play became a fitting representation of his journey—a career defined not by expectations, but by persistence, resilience, and the willingness to outwork obstacles.

Through this work, he helps protect natural resources while promoting long-term environmental sustainability for future generations.

His sister, Leah, earned a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, while his brother, Alex, combined athletic success as a collegiate rower with distinguished service as an Air Force Reserve C-17 pilot before becoming a commercial pilot for United Airlines. Their father, Tony, enjoyed a successful career as a financial advisor and helped instill the principles of integrity, accountability, and perseverance that continue to influence the family today.
